Sandi & Phil Trapani – Arts Champions
Sandi and Phil Trapani met at Michigan State University and they moved from Michigan to College Station in 1986. They have been Franchisees for the Little Caesars Pizza Restaurants for over 38 years. They are also involved in commercial real estate and multi- family real estate. Sandi and Phil enjoy time with their Family – their 3 daughters, 6 Grandchildren, Sandi’s Parents, Aggie their cat, and Coco their dog.
Sandi became a STARS member of The Arts Council in 2011 and was on The Arts Council Board 2012-18. Her parents, Carol and Stan Wellso, are also STARS members. Her sister Sallie, is an oil painter who just moved to Texas from California.
Phil and Sandi are members of the 12 th Man Foundation, The Chancellors Council, Texas A&M Foundation, have endowed a scholarship to TAMU, members of The George Bush Presidential Library and are members at St Mary’s Catholic Church. Phil was on the City of College Station Planning and Zoning Commission in 2004. Sandi was President of Brazos County Aggie Moms in 2013.
Since the Theme of 2024 CTA is Take Me Out to the Ballgame – In 2019 Sandi was
honored to throw out the First Pitch of the year on National TV for The Detroit Tigers Baseball Game!!!
Sandi and Phil are both very passionate about the arts. They really enjoy traveling around the world and visiting different art museums. They have donated Little Caesar Pizzas for various Arts Council Events and have donated to The Arts Council Partners in Success at a Picasso Level. In 2014 The STARS held a Cooking Demonstration Event at the Trapani’s House with Mackie Bobo. Sandi and Phil enjoy the local Boots & BBQ, Celebrate the Arts, and STARS Events for The Arts Council of the Brazos Valley.
