Our Facilities

The Arts Council is the hub of the arts in the Brazos Valley, serving over 60 affiliate groups and hosting over 20,000 visitors annually. Patrons visit our gallery and seek information or participate in more than 25 events, meetings, classes, workshops or receptions monthly.

 

Our new Arts & Visitor Center includes: the offices of the Arts Council of Brazos Valley, a unique two-tier mezzanine gallery, three working studios for local artists, creative spaces for art programs, an outdoor venue for public art and live events, and meeting and creative spaces for the community.

 

The 8,500 square-foot facility also houses an extensive permanent collection of art featuring works from regional and Texas artists, sculpture, paintings, and artifacts from around the world, dating from the 11th century to the present.

Can I book a tour of the facility?

Absolutely! We love to show prospective customers all the Arts Council has to offer. Please give us a call and let us know what area you would like to see. We are happy to walk you around and let you look at all the options available.

Tours can be of the entire facility or just the amenities and areas you are wanting to book.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available for everyone at the Arts Council, free of charge.

Is there staff available during our event/meeting?

Yes, a support event staff is assigned to your event and will be present throughout the duration of your event.

Do you provide linens and decorations?

No, we do not provide decor or linens of any kind. We will be glad to provide you with the names of several local vendors who do.

Who is responsible for clean-up following the event?

You are asked to remove any items you brought in for the event. This includes decor items, leftover food and beverage, and any other personal items. You are also expected to clear tables and remove all trash to an appropriate receptacle.
