ROLL CALL – Friends Of Camp Hearne | Geocaching Community Celebration Hearne, TX
Celebrate 25 years of this global treasure hunt while exploring the rich history of a WWII POW camp. Using GPS devices or smartphone apps, participants will navigate coordinates to uncover hidden caches while learning about the site’s past.
A Geocaching 101 session at noon will help newcomers get started, making this event perfect for all skill levels. Bring your own GPS-enabled device or download the “Geocaching®” app before arriving. Free hot dogs & water provided and a few door prizes!
Admission is free, but donations to support Camp Hearne’s preservation efforts are welcome.
