Artist Statements
My work centers around the power and my love for color, nature, human anatomy, and my Mexican heritage. I find that much of my work is sprinkled with inspirations from my heritage. Furthermore, I find that vivid color speaks the loudest to me and try to incorporate into my pieces, even in the most dark subject matter. I work in a variety of media forms, but loved mixed media work the most as I like to experiment with media types and the juxtaposition of textures.
