A Talk by Commander John B. Herrington

“Commander Herrington shares his stories of challenge, leadership, motivation, and mentorship with diverse audiences of all ages and occupations.” Commander John B. Herrington was born in Wetumka, Oklahoma He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado, a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a PhD in Education from the University of Idaho. As a Naval Aviator and Test Pilot he has over 5000 flight hours in more than 30 different types of airplanes.
As a proud citizen of the Chickasaw Nation in Oklahoma and considered the first Native American to fly in space.
