Adult Watercolor Class Series

About the Class: This class will be fun and instructional to anyone from beginners to practicing watercolorists. We will begin with loosening up techniques to practice the application of watercolor from wet-on-wet application, wet on dry, and dry brush.  We will explore resist techniques, textures, and, how to use various brushes. How to choose the type of watercolor paper and weights for your project and tastes.

 

Student artists will learn quick sketches for making stationery and longer processes to create a long project in the 8 weeks.  A journal will help artists capture their watercolor experience and create a memory book of their treasured painting.

 

Dates: Tuesdays 6:00-8:30pm, June 9, 16, 23 and July 7, 14, 21
