Presentation and Book Signing | A German Texan in World War II by Marilyn Maddox

The Brazos Valley native shares her father’s story as a member of the military from 1943 to 1945. This memoir includes his diary, letters, and memorabilia detailing what the life of an 88th Infantry Officer’s life was like during WWII while interrogating Germans and working in military intelligence. Maddox brings this personal history into her present experience living as a German in College Station, Texas while discovering her father’s war time relics.
