Meeting as the local chapter of the national organization, the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists, the Aggieland Rug Artists strive to promote the knowledge of rug hooking and to promote friendship and knowledge among its members.

Brazos Bluebonnet Quilt Guild

The purpose of the Brazos Bluebonnet Quilt Guild is to stimulate an interest in quilts, to preserve existing quilts, to promote quilting, to educate quilt-makers, and to advance the art of quilt-making. This is achieved through continuing education services for members, public education activities, and professional and artisan development programs.

Brazos Spinners & Weavers Guild

The Guild was organized to encourage creative hand weaving and spinning by extending the technical skills and awareness of members and to promote public appreciation of the art of spinning and weaving. Every Saturday join them for a variety of classes on different fiber art techniques at INTERSECTIONS: Textile Learning Center.

Brazos Valley Stitchers

The group’s purpose is to promote the cooperation and interchange of ideas by those engaged or interested in needlework, to maintain high standards of design, technique and instruction, to encourage creativity and to stimulate interest in the community.

The Brazos Valley Wearable Arts’ mission is to enhance our abilities and creativity in the field of wearable art by providing a forum for members to learn, critique, and share ideas. Meetings consist of lectures, demonstrations or workshops to stimulate and inspire personal expression with fabric. Guests are welcome to attend meetings on the fourth Tuesday of January through October.
