New Exhibit Opening the Vault at the Presidential Libraries | George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum
Opening the Vault: March 9 – April 12, 2026 in the Ansary Gallery of American History to commemorate 250 years of American Independence, the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum will host the landmark exhibit: Opening the Vault. The exhibit will feature original, history-making documents straight from the vaults of the National Archives & Records Administration, rarely seen outside of Washington, D.C. Visitors will have a chance to experience some of the most iconic records in our national story up close, including the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, the Deed of Gift for the Statue of Liberty, and the Record of Induction for Elvis Presley, among many others!
