Bryan, Texas – StageCenter Community Theatre is proud to present A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play Adapted by Joe Landry with music by Kevin Connors, A nostalgic, heartwarming retelling of Dicken’ classic comes to life on stage this holiday season. Presented under the direction of Tim Scott and underwritten by Allen Samuels Chevrolet GMC in Hearne, Texas, performances run December 4th through the 14th at the StageCenter Theatre.
About the Play
A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play, is a charming and hilarious re-telling of Charles Dickens’ timeless holiday story. Performed as a 1950’s live radio broadcast, this festive production brings Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from miser to miracle-maker to vivid life through on stage foley sound effects, vintage microphones and a talented ensemble of performers.
Adapted with wit, warmth and theatrical magic, A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play invites audiences of all ages to step back in time and experience the classic tale as listeners once did through voice, sound and the spark of imagination.
This production features an amazing ensemble cast playing dozens of beloved characters from Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim to the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future.
