Session 9: “Painted Paper Collage Art” with Sara Jordan.

Come learn various techniques for creating painted papers which will become backgrounds and materials for collage art! Image transfer techniques will also be taught as well as compositional design, layering for textural effects, color theory, drawing basics, and developing original creativity.
Session 10a: “Popular Painting Mediums” with Sara Jordan.

Come explore four of the most popular painting mediums: watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and water soluble oil paints! We will develop best practices and techniques with each medium to create abstract, realistic, and expressive artwork. We will create an abstract expressive artwork, a landscape, and a portrait, while also learning brush care and cleaning according to the different medium types.
Session 10b: “Painting My Perfect Pet” with Ginna Schoppe.

Designed for kids to create some of their favorite pets/animals. Canvas painting, Woven Art, aquariums, treat jars and more. Everyone can show their pet or favorite animal love by creating master pieces of them.
