Sheree Boehner – Executive Director

Sheree Boegner, Executive Director, is a graduate of Bryan High School, Bryan, Texas, and attended Blinn College before transferring to Texas A&M University, where she received a Bachelors’s in Horticulture and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management with an emphasis in fundraising and philanthropy from the Bush School at Texas A&M. She recently completed an Executive Masters of Public Service and Administration program from the Bush School with a 4.0 GPA and, in November, will celebrate her third year with the Arts Council. With over 16 years of experience working with nonprofits such as B/CS Chamber of Commerce, Health for All, Junior League of the Bryan/College Station, Habitat for Humanity, The Salvation Army, Girl Scouts of Central Texas, Aggieland Humane Society, The Prenatal Clinic, and Downtown Bryan Association. Sheree founded the Sassy Shoe Social in 2010, benefitting a local shelter for domestic and dating abuse victims.  Sheree has honed her skills, focusing on public relations, management, marketing, and development proficiencies. Sheree has received numerous awards, to name a few:

The Prenatal Clinic

You’re the Tops Honoree, will be presented on April 27, 2019: You’re the Tops Honoree will be presented on April 27, 2019, by The Prenatal Clinic; women selected for this prestigious honor come from a variety of backgrounds. They include business and community leaders, volunteers, and others who embody a life of service, leadership, and achievement. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the accomplishments of these women.

The Brazos County Coalition Against Domestic Violence

Awarded Voices Against Violence Award in 2018: Awarded the Voices Against Violence Award 2018 by Brazos County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.  I was chosen because of all of my outstanding service to men, women, and children affected by domestic violence in Brazos County.

Super Bowl LI Houston Host Committee Volunteer Team in Houston, Texas:

 2017 Fans First! Award: recognized for going the extra yard and delivering Fans First! Service. Making a difference at Super Bowl LI.

Chamber of Commerce, Bryan/College Station, TX

Awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2016: Awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2016, the purpose of this award is to recognize an individual who has gone beyond the call of duty in volunteer service to the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce and through his/her enthusiasm and dedication has set an example for future Chamber volunteers. Sheree earned several awards while an Ambassador as well.

Girl Scouts of Central Texas

2016 Woman of Distinction Honoree: 2016 Woman of Distinction Honoree for Girl Scouts of Central Texas: I was chosen because I have distinguished myself as an outstanding community member through my excellence and high levels of achievement in the area of volunteerism. As well as, being a role model for all girls and adults alike shows them that anything can be accomplished with hard work and perseverance.
