About the Artist: Naomi Haverland

“As a professional mural artist, my primary objective is to create an image that will surprise people and make them smile. My forte lies in playful, colorful realism as well as anamorphic illusions (paintings that use perspective to appear 3D). I love participating in festivals because the artistic community is one of my highest priorities for my career. I love the camaraderie, growth, and mutual support that comes from artists gathering together. Inspiration for the mural

Due to the wall being on a flower shop, the rose was a perfect fit combined with a bug that was created using different bugs combined with Naomi’s signature style with the jewels. Naomi really wanted to play around with a metallic look.

“My main goal was to create a magical scene including a flower and iridescent textures. I wanted something that would make a visual impact and spark joy and inspiration to those who encountered it.” – Naomi Haverland
