Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra

The mission of the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra is to maintain a symphony of high artistic standards, and to promote the musical arts for cultural and educational purposes throughout the Brazos Valley. As a professional symphony, the BVSO presents a full season of a classical subscription, free outdoor, holiday pops, and children’s concerts each year.

Friends of Chamber Music

Friends of Chamber Music brings music from diverse periods and cultures, performed by world-class musicians, to the Brazos Valley. Through free concerts and outreach programs at area schools, they strive to enhance the cultural life of the community.

Ballet Brazos

The mission of Ballet Brazos is to instruct, educate and enrich young people and their audiences through the art of dance, and provide quality classical ballet performances for the community. These performances provide an opportunity to showcase local talent, cultivate an appreciation for the arts, and inspire the next generation of dancers. Dancers and instructors are recruited from dance studios across the Brazos Valley, and collaborate to create a truly civic ballet company.

George Bush Presidential
Library & Museum

The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is dedicated to sponsoring programs and exhibits that benefit students of all grade levels. They are committed to creating an exciting and open educational environment where every student can learn more about our nation’s past. The wide range of activities includes tours, interactive displays, Museum Classroom programs, and family activities.

MSC OPAS

Founded in 1972, OPAS at Texas A&M University – a division of the Memorial Student Center – presents professional productions of theatre, music and dance programs that enlighten, entertain and inspire audiences of the Brazos Valley. OPAS programs are funded entirely by revenue generated from ticket sales and contributions.

Museum of the American G.I.

The Museum of the American G.I. began in 2001 with an inventory of multiple award-winning artifacts of American military history. The goal of the museum is to be a repository of restored, working military vehicles used by the United States and to display the vehicles in action.
