Following shows in Berlin, Scotland, England, and Romania, the Wright Gallery at Texas A&M University in College Station will give Territory: The Exhibition in a Box its United States debut.
The exhibition features a print collection curated by the Created and Contested Territories research group at Norwich University of the Arts in Norwich, England. Artists in the research group respond to complex ideas around 'territory' as a designation and as a concept in limited-edition prints. This curatorial project involves 10 collections of limited-edition prints housed in yellow clamshell portfolio boxes sent to international venues selected on account of their resonances with issues of territory.
Face coverings required. Visitors in the gallery are limited to 10 people at once.
