31st Annual Burton Cotton Gin Festival

We invite you to join us …step back in time when cotton was king. The historic 1914 Burton Farmers Gin* is nestled in the heart of Burton, Texas - located on the same site where it was built over 100 years ago! Designated on June 19, 2009 as the Official Cotton Gin Museum of Texas, this historic cotton gin has been visited annually by thousands of visitors who have also enjoyed exhibits at the Texas Cotton Gin Museum. Burton, a small rural German community of 300 is conveniently located halfway between Houston and Austin on Hwy 290.

*The Texas Cotton Gin Museum in Burton is looking for local non-profit organizations, to take part in the 31st Annual Burton Cotton Gin Festival on Sat. Apr. 18th, 2020. The museum is offering free craft vendor space to non-profits, to spread the word on the wonderful things other organizations are doing. The festival benefits, and celebrates the Oldest Operating Cotton Gin in America, and is a FREE family friendly event.

**The Texas Cotton Gin Museum is putting out a call for any local Artisans and Makers who are interested in being a craft vendor at 31st Annual Burton Cotton Gin Festival. Our festival offers the perfect opportunity to market your wares! The festival date is April 18, 2020 10AM-6PM.
