2020 Event Details
Join us on January 11th for an afternoon of art, music, and Texas BBQ. Boots & BBQ is one of The Arts Council's annual fundraisers that is low-key and held at The Arts Council's beautiful facility in south College Station. This event is held on the second Saturday in January from 1:00-4:00 pm and offers a fun afternoon of live music, art, dancing, a silent auction, and socializing. We highly encourage RSVPing before the event but a limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Reservations include 1 meal ticket, and 2 drink tickets. The meal consists of delicious Texas BBQ, prepared by Hans Hammond and friends and traditional BBQ sides. So get your boots on & join us for a fun afternoon of music, art, dancing and delicious BBQ. Enjoy meeting and learning about some of our local artists and view their recent works. They’ll even have some you can purchase to enjoy at home, give as a gift, or enjoy in your office!
Admission is $40 per person and includes a meal and two drink tickets. Children's tickets for kids 12 and under are $15.00. For more information call 979-696-2787.
This year's musical entertainment is Chris Martinez. Inspired by folk rock singer/songwriters, Chris is a solo acoustic guitarist covering more than 150 artists from the 70s to today's hits. He is known as the Human Jukebox for performing more than 14 hours of music without repeating a song.
