Sheree Boegner - Executive Director

"I am excited to join The Arts Council as it continues its mission to support the arts, culture and heritage of the Brazos Valley. I am looking forward to working with the cities, counties, donors, board, staff, volunteers, affiliates, artists, youth, and benefactors. The arts create a thriving environment that makes our community very attractive to new businesses and visitors. I find the most appealing aspects of this position are that it is in line with my passion and skills for philanthropy and is a natural fit. I have volunteered with many of the Art Council’s affiliates and supported the art community by attending their events. My love for the arts was nurtured by both of my grandmothers who believed that creativity is one of the keys to learn about yourself and develop a great future.” Sheree received her Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture from Texas A&M University and completed her Executive Master of Public Service and Administration degree from the Bush School.  

 Hailey Mallet - Marketing & Design Intern

Hailey Mallett - Marketing & Graphic Design Artist

Hailey grew up in Iola, Texas. She is a 2022 graduate from Texas A&M with a major in Communication and a minor in Arts. Hailey loves the arts and dreams of using creativity to change the world for the better. In her free time, she enjoys theatre, improv, freelance graphic design, and playing the flute and piano. This fall, Hailey is moving to Boston earn her Graphic Design Certificate from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts.


Ethan Lewis - Programs Intern

Ethan grew up locally in College Station, Texas. He is currently attending Laguna College of Art and Design in California, with a major in Game Art. In his free time he enjoys watching movies, reading, writing, making art, and spending time with family and friends.

Emiliano Fresnillo - Marketing & Development Assistant

Emiliano grew up in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. He is currently attending Texas A&M University with a major in Global Arts, Planning, Design, and Construction Concentration with minors in Arts and Educational Psychology. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, reading, playing the saxophone, making art, and swimming.





Madi Stott  - Operations Assistant

Madi was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas. She is a proud member of the Fightin Texas Aggie Class of 2024. She is also an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Madi was recently accepted into Texas A&M University’s Accelerated Bachelors to Masters program in the Communication department. She will obtain both a Bachelors and Masters of Communication with a minor in English during her time at Texas A&M. In the future, Madi hopes to pursue a career in Event Planning and Management. The Arts Council has allowed Madi to obtain many different useful skills helpful to further pursue her dream career, and she is excited to see how she is able to continue to grow through her position.
