Sheree Boegner - Executive Director

Sheree Boegner - Executive Director

"I am excited to join The Arts Council as it continues its mission to support the arts, culture and heritage of the Brazos Valley. I am looking forward to working with the cities, counties, donors, board, staff, volunteers, affiliates, artists, youth, and benefactors. The arts create a thriving environment that makes our community very attractive to new businesses and visitors. I find the most appealing aspects of this position are that it is in line with my passion and skills for philanthropy and is a natural fit. I have volunteered with many of the Art Council’s affiliates and supported the art community by attending their events. My love for the arts was nurtured by both of my grandmothers who believed that creativity is one of the keys to learn about yourself and develop a great future.” Sheree received her Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture from Texas A&M University and completed her Executive Master of Public Service and Administration degree from the Bush School.
