Monarch butterflies will fill the skies again on Saturday, June 26th at Wish Upon a Butterfly, an annual fundraiser at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History. This symbolic event highlights the elegant monarch, the Texas state insect.  This year, because of COVID-19 concerns, Wish Upon a Butterfly will be a drive-through event from 9 am -11 am. Visitors will drive to the Brazos Center Park Pavilion where Museum staff, dressed in butterfly attire to add to the fun, will hand out purchased butterflies to release at home!  Participants will also receive an activity/craft packet that they can enjoy with their families.
