The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra invites you to ABBA The Concert April 24 from 5-7:00pm. ABBA The Concert—this spot on tribute act will join the BVSO featuring singers and musicians who faithfully recreate ABBA’s distinctive concerts of the 70s and 80s. This stunning homage to Sweden’s pop music phenomena includes iconic favorites like “Dancing Queen,” Mamma Mia,” “SOS,” “Fernando,” “Take a Chance on Me,” and much more.

This evening is a very special one as some of Maestro Bussiki’s favorite compositions are featured in honor of his 25thAnniversary as conductor of the BVSO. The BVSO amplified with a full rock band performs classic Queen hits in a brilliant combination of power and high energy that reflects the iconic band’s place as one of the greatest in rock history. You will experience classics such as “We are the Champions,” “Killer Queen,” and of course “Bohemian Rhapsody” with full rich harmonies that only an orchestra can provide to make this concert unforgettable.

The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra invites you to Romantic Piano Feb. 27 from 5-7:00pm. International Chopin Piano Competition Silver Medalist, Charles Richard-Hamelin, will perform one of the greatest piano concertos ever written, Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear one of the great pianists of our time performing this beautiful and exciting concerto. Also featured in this concert is the composition that Sibelius called “a confession of the soul”, Symphony No. 2 in D major

Friends of Chamber Music will present Bridget Kibbey hailed by the press as a “Yo-Yo Ma of the harp” and violinist Alexi Kenney on Saturday, February 12, at 5 PM at A&M United Methodist Church in College Station.
