Fine Arts Camp
June 11-15 | 9:00am-4:00pm | Ages 6-11
June 18-22 | 9:00am-4:00pm | Ages 6-11
Taught by Dr. Rose Santos
Students will learn about world-renowned artists and create projects inspired by their work. Students will experiment with painting, drawing, collage, and more.

Paper Sculpture Camp
June 25-29 | 9:00am-3:00pm | Ages 11-16
Taught by Navasota Artist in Residence, Apinya Srikhwanthong
Students will play with paper and explore the possibilities of making paper art. Students will learn about dimension by creating multiple layers to transform their 2D drawings into 3D paper sculptures.

Fine Arts Camp
July 9-13 | 9:00am-4:00pm | Ages 6-11
Taught by Navasota Artist in Residence, Apinya Srikhwanthong
Students will learn about world-renowned artists and create projects inspired by their work. Students will experiment with painting, drawing, collage, and more.

Comic Book Camp
July 16-20 | 9:00am-12:00pm | Ages 6-11
Taught by Blinn Professor, Tim Weaver
Students will learn the basics of drawing the human figure and scenery while creating their favorite superheroes and comic strips.

Minecraft Camp
July 23-27 | 9:00am-3:00pm | Ages 6-11
Taught by Blinn Professor, Tim Weaver
Students will create Minecraft skins, learn redstone, participate in build challenges, and build collaboratively. This innovative camp explores the art of Minecraft and integrates science and technology into creative expression.

All camps will take place at The Arts Center, 2275 Dartmouth Street in College Station. Snacks will be provided, but full-day campers will need to bring sack lunches.

Affiliate Programs

Unity Theatre’s Summer Drama & Performance Camps are a great way for your child to have fun and experience the joy and magic of live theatre. Drama Camp is offered July 9-13 (grades 2-3) and July 16-20 (grades 4-6). Performance Camp is offered July 16-29 (grades 4-6) and July 9-29 (grades 7-12).

Studying science and history helps your children to know and understand the world around them. The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History offers 10 weeks of Summer Nature from June 4 to August 17. Each session lasts one week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Camp sessions are divided into age groups (4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12).

Join the Navasota Theatre Alliance for their 9th year of comprehensive child and teen summer theatre camps. Campers will be immersed in all aspects of theatre arts including acting, lighting, sound, costuming and more! Youth camps are offered in two sessions: June 4-8 (grades 2-6) and July 9-20 (grades 7-12).

Children will be able to explore their creative side with one of the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley’s fantastic summer programs! Camps are offered in seven sessions for anywhere from Art Lab to Little Chefs. Camps begin May 29 and continue through August 17.
